LOVE + REVOLUTION

CD •  $10PP

Welcome. Resister Records was created, as the name suggests, to be a true alternative to the mainstream by presenting music that exists outside of the corporate dominated sphere of influence which seems to be everywhere and affecting everything in a way that is stifling independent expression. Towards that end we are using this space to present music that we feel is devoid of all that. You’ll be able to find all the music merchandise and most importantly information related to that music here.  We are trying to develop an audience that will appreciate what it is that we do and what it is that we have to offer. If you like what you discover here please pass the word along to like minded individuals.

FROM THE LINER NOTES BY CHUCK D.

"Listen care-fully because both the new AND the old school have something to be gained/learned from this little story that must be told.... For the people, of the people, X-Vandals brings the noise with modern day machetero methods, proving that if we refuse to lose, this is a war of art we just might win in the end of the beginning"

RENEGADES OF PUNK

LIVE AT CBGB

COMING SOON

FROM SCRAWL MAGAZINE

“Renegades of Punk sounds like the coming of the apocalypse, part spoken word, part hip-hop, part punk, part performance art. And this duo do it all with only vocal chords as instruments. Kid Lucky fabricates industrial beatbox noise and Not4Prophet generates prophetic vocal poetry. Renegades Of Punk is not for the weak.”

FROM THE BOSTON PHOENIX

"What might have happened if Santana had jammed with the Sex Pistols dangerous and fresh sounding in the best rock and roll tradition."
